Introduction to i2online
i2online is designed to deepen understanding of ideas through Internet-based interaction. The whole point is the understanding of and interaction with the world through ideas. The means is interaction with other people via technology.
What makes us unique is the focus on ideas. Often interaction is the point. It is our belief that making ideas the point leads to richer interaction, which is a side benefit to a deeper understanding of the ideas. We also believe that participants will grow in the interaction skills (e.g., use of English) more effectively than just trying to foster interaction for its own sake since language used purposefully is the most effective means for language growth.
